Off The Record developed itself as a band that didn't see the need to sound the way everyone else does. We perform songs that stand on their own merit, arranging them into the unique OTR sound that northeast Ohio is catching on to. We employ four-part vocals, the classic Hammond organ sound with the real rotating Leslie speaker, trumpet, alto and tenor sax. Pre-recorded digital samples and backing tracks have their place for other groups. Not at OTR. We translate this sound into classic and modern day hits and provide a high energy show that people of all ages can groove to. We think you'll agree. You dig?
